Would you like to discover Ghent without passing on busy roads and by avoiding the dense urban area ?
This track will take you through the rural scenery of the Pajottenland.
Practical Information
This 75 km track will take you out of Brussels via the South-West into the hilly and rural Pajottenland.
On your way, you will find many shops and restaurants to feed yourself.
At the end of this adventure, you will find the Scheldt, which you will follow into Ghent. This vibrant and creative city combines medieval architecture with a lively cultural scene. Its many trendy cafés and restaurants offer the perfect reward at the end of a beautiful day of cycling.
If you have time, why not enjoy a night there and spend a whole day visiting Ghent?
If you want to get back to Brussels quickly, you’re in luck, as the train between Ghent and Brussels only takes half an hour and runs very frequently. And if you need a bike and/or panniers, you’ll find them here.
